Could you elaborate on your wireless issue / provide information on your wireless card?
about a week ago I was installing Debian 8, the power went off in the middle of the installation, after the power came back I started my laptop to begin the installation again, the installer detected my wireless card (as usual), but it was never able to show me a list of wireless networks in range, I tried turning it on using the wireless button (the one that you use your finger to push) but nothing happened, even the LED won't blank as it usually does, so I installed Windows XP to use the "repair" service that they provide by default, and it worked!
AntiX caused this issue to reappear
but never mind, because I'm back to AntiX and it's working fine this time
