For some inexplicable reason. xserver-xorg-core in Debisn sid now has libsystemd0 as a dependency.

I added to our repo a nosystemd free version and have put it in testing dev nosystemd (antix.list).

It worked on my rig. Any testers much appreciated and if all is ok, then I can move the debs into nosystemd folder.

http://antix.daveserver.info/testing/po ... rg-server/

to see the debs. Only a few should get installed with a dist-upgrade.

If it looks like it will bork your systemd, don't proceed. Post results in this thread.

Best for users already running sid.

antiX testing and new sid repo now have these debs. They seem to be working ok.

I installed it on my "test" box and did a glxgears (vblank_mode=0 glxgears) both before and after. Dropped from 95xx frames (in 5") to 75xx, though after leaving it running for a minute or so, it gradually spead up to 94xx. I would've expected at least as fast and perhaps faster, all else being equal. I'm using Intel integrated graphics. (YMMV)

UPDATE, I've now installed on my production box and it seems to work great. Not sure what was the difference on the other one, but after further testing there, I see no sig. difference.
