Couldn't be Open Office on my Dell, not installed, but thanks for the info,
h2, just wanted to say that your script is awesome, I really appreciate your taking the time and effort to include antiX, the script has worked flawlessly for me.
I will check out powersaved and see if it makes a difference on my laptop.

Hi:

I was having problems with my IBM T20 Laptop shutting down properly until I edited my
/Boot/Grub/menu.list fie and added the following to it.
acpi=force
The problem I was having was I would do a shutdown and the system would shudown but not power off until I edited the above.
