Problem with konsole allways root login

Ive got Antix M8 intafada installed on a old laptop. I also installed KDE and run that some times. Recently something happened (after updates I suspect) and every time I run konsole it asks for the password and runs as root. Even if I run dolphin as a user and take the run console option it does the same thing. The only terminals I can seem to run as a user (not root) are xterm and uxterm . Anybody got any ideas ?
