I have installed the antiX and wireless card working and can surf the internet.
I installed and updated package including samba. How do I access home network from my antiX computer to my main desktop running XP? Just looking at the "home" file icon, can't figure out how to access the XP machine.

On 7, I also installed fuse and fusesmb, then ran fuse on start up, and mounted the network shares using rox. However, I haven't done this lately, and I thought that for awhile a fuse update wasn't working, so I hope someone else gets back to you on this.

The how-to on accessing network shares is still valid. However, due to a bug in smbclient it can be a little flakey when connecting. Sometimes it won't connect and other times the mount point will vanish and you will not be able to access the shares.
