I don't use it often enough to really care. As long as it works. XFCE has been working on XFburn and it looks a lot like k3B.

I've used k3b a lot also, with very good results.

I mostly use gnomebaker. Less problems than brasero and I like the interface better.

As I've reported here...

brasero-update-t1177.html

gnomebaker works for me while brasero currently does not. So unless brasero gets fixed I'd go for gnomebaker (which I've voted for only on this condition). But if they both work then it's a toss-up. They seem pretty comparable to me (and preferable to the much heavier k3b).

I agree, I have used Brasero more in the past but lately have been using Gnomebaker. They seem very similar and the only reason I voted for Gnomebaker is because of the issues lately with Brasero. If it is fixed it's really a toss-up.

I usually burn CDs and DVDs from KDE using K3B - this is one thing I usually do not do from antiX, so whatever app works best and is a good compromise between modest size and decent functionality is fine with me. When we have a candidate, I would be glad to try it out and see what I think of it. What I like about K3B is that I rarely have to give it any "special instructions". It just knows what to do and gets the job done. Years ago I used cdrecord and passed it the options that I needed. So for me I can go with an interactive tool or an automated tool if needed.

There seems to be a problem with wodin that affects brasero, so test2 will come with gnomebaker. In my tests, it works unlike brasero.

A bonus is that gnomebaker is actually lighter than brasero and so we save about 5MB on the live cd.
