Help with printing images

Postby drreid on Thu Sep 18, 2008 5:59 pm

Hey All,

I'm trying to print screenshots to my default printer. I can print text files without a problem. The Rox filemanager doesn't seem to have a print option and if I try to print from GQview I get a "SIGPIPE error writing to printer" message.

I already read the FAQ and googled the error message. Any other suggestions?

Thanks In Advance,
drreid

Try printing via mtpaint (Painting).

Not ideal, but it might work.
BTW I get the same error when printing from gqview.

I can't test mtpaint as my printer has run out of ink and the shops are shut.

Have a look at gnome photo printer. It allows you to select paper type and size as well a scaling.
