Network mount point vanishes

Postby eriefisher on Mon Aug 11, 2008 11:09 pm

I use fusesmb to mount my home network in /home/me/Network on startup. Now when I open /home/me then click on Network I can usually navigate to any shares on my network.

Lately the Network folder will just vanish and I get an error about not being found. The only way to get the folder back is to unmount the network [umount /home/me/Network] and the folder appears again.

Anyone seen this issue? I have only had it since upgrading to 7.5. I just upgraded my wife 7.2 to 7.5 and now her /Network folder disappears?

Philosophers have interpreted the world in many ways; the point is to change it.

That's for nfs. I don't think it should affect me as I use samba.

I will have to keep digging.
