Video Settings Won't Stick

Postby bucolicbuffalo on Wed Oct 31, 2007 12:50 am

Video default seems to be set at some odd setting. I change it to 1024x768 and I lose it at reboot. I have to resize Iceweasel every time too.

More confusion. :?

Sorry, bucolicbuffalo, but I'm not sure what you mean when you say the video default is at an odd setting.
Do you mean the screen resolution setting in xorg.conf?
Philosophers have interpreted the world in many ways; the point is to change it.

Yeah, that's right. Just couldn't think of it at the time. I don't know what the default is, but AntiX just keeps going back to it at reboot. I have tried to set it at 1024x768. Had no problem doing it with the RC version. Only when I upgraded did it start giving me this grief.
