I remember a thread in which anti told how to upgrade antiX to 7.2 without reinstalling. I have a 7.2 running in Virtualbox, but I want to upgrade my laptop without a full reinstall.

I can't find the thread on it, and all I remember is that I have to unselect the Mepis repos, and select the lenny (testing) repos and then upgrade. Then I think I need to add some other apps. I especially want the antiX control center that shows on the desktop in this post:

Does anyone know where the original upgrade thread is or can anyone tell me what else I need to do?

I think that's the one you are looking for...about half way down on that page. This covers upgrade from Lysistrata to 7.01 though.

I got a bit lost, but I'll see if I can make sense of it later. I'm still not sure how the control center is installed unless it comes in unicorn rider's script? But I thought that was someone else's. Thanks, again.

@mariel77 - If you want the control center and any other scripts from the 7.2 release, pm me your email address and I'll send you a tar with the scripts. To get them working is not much work:

1. install zenity from the repos
2. make the scripts executable (either using cli or rox)
3. copy the files to /usr/local/bin/
4. make menu entries (if desired)

P.S. I did update the zenity scripts before working on the gtkdialog scripts, but I don't think they'll be on the new iso. Still worth checking out.
