this is my black antix:

fluxbox: noir 1.2 very cool
gtk2: tenebrific nice theme but theres a problem with borders of boxes for password, user,search don't see them
mplayer: blackspeed on the site it looked good. mine dosen't work
xmms: sigil of baphomet brings the satanist out of me )

if you know black and i mean real black color themes with white text please let me know

Nice job. There are so many ways to go...even with black.

The best part of linux is the flexibility. It just takes a little study and common sense to make changes to just about anything you want. If you don't quite like a theme or fluxbox style...you are close but just want to make a few changes....jump in and change it.

could anyone tell me how to remove the spaces from 600mib /700 mib and from 70 %? i didn't figure it out i suck at scripting or programing. here is my conky lines:

${color white}Space:
${color white} Root:${color white} ${fs_free /}/${color white}${fs_size /}${color white}= ${fs_free_perc /}%
${color white}Storage:${color white} ${fs_free /home/ICE-M/Storage}/${color white}${fs_size /home/ICE-M/Storage}${color white}= ${fs_free_perc /home/ICE-M/Storage}%

is there a way to display in MB, GB not MiB, GiB?
and is there a way to center the hdd space and network like ram, swap no matter if it shows 100 mib or 1 gib the mib or gib to be one under onther?
how can i change the height of the toolbar? thank you.

The toolbar height can be tweaked in your style's theme.cfg

Navigate to usr/share/fluxbox/styles/(the style you are currently using).

Open theme.cfg and look for the following line or something similar to it:

toolbar.height: 17

Change the number and restart fluxbox to check the new toolbar size.

As far as your conky script, I will do a little research and maybe be of help. Also go to:http://conky.sourceforge.net/documentation.html and click on "variables" and "config file settings" to learn more about what is possible.

changed a lot in the themes:
fluxbox noir: when i had a white wallpaper fluxbox was grey i edited all the pictures and maked them black and edited the theme.cfg to show transparency black not grey. now everything is black
xmms: i found a XawMMS v1.0 white theme inverted all the colors and changed them to black and white with a little deletion of some borders and titles
gtk2: grey icons and removed the round corners from windows. don't know the picture for search box to make borders for it. found one and edited it but it dosen't work.

edit: solved the GiB to G with "short_units 1" in conky settings.the no spaces in 600mb /6gb and 70 % only work if the command is $mem/$memmax if it is ${fs_free /}/${fs_size /} it shows a space. don't know to fix it. {} is the blame

Good to hear! I'm not much different. Relatively new to Linux but loving antiX. This is a patient, understanding bunch. I've asked a few stupid questions and they haven't chased me off yet. So there's probably hope for others of like mind....or lack thereof

Nice one eriefisher you always there to help others. The themes are nice. Black is a solid look it tends to look very nice when it has a higher glow. Nice work.
