Hello all,

Discovered MX-15 in a chance you tube video. Liked it, so ordered some hardware, and installed in the last 4 days.

I'm having to leave Windows due to the excessively aggressive Windows 10 marketing push.

Tried the odd distro down the years and this one seems to feel more or less right and pretty darned functional. I also have 4 Raspberry Pi machines, 2 are running my home made weather station, so not a complete stranger to Linux, but very much a newbie still after only a year or two.

So far I'm really enjoying this distro. Very nicely put together. I have one or two configuration issues to solve still, so I'll be full of questions shortly, I hope folk here will help me find my way in MX-15.

Cheers,
Ian

Hey, welcome to the forums, and the weird and wonderful world of antiX!

We will certainly try to help with whatever you got, but just so you know there are more MX users at forum.mepiscommunity.org. antix.freeforums.org is mostly for support of antiX-main (as I call it.)

If that's a little confusing, I know, sorry. :) MX is a corroborative project with the mepiscommunity, who have been around approximately forever. When MEPIS as a distro died, MX was born.

A lot of us frequent both boards though!

Anyway, welcome again!

d.o.

Welcome & Howdy! You WILL enjoy this distro as antiX and MX are not resource hogs like some.

If you ever have a problem or question and cannot find an answer from a simple search of the forum, ASK. I'm sure there is someone here who has asked the question before, and many who have figured it out. There are many informative people here who are willing to help.
