I have noticed that to start htop with a key stroke it is set to f9. Problem, f9 is also the built in key to kill a selected app so pressing f9 will just start another instance of htop.
I will have to change the settings.

Any suggestions as to a better 'default' htop key?
TBH I had't thought too much about this.
On my box, F9 opens Rox, F8 htop,

On mine (all of them) F9 just fires up htop.... nothing else, just that. I thought it was the same for everyone?

Yes the default fluxbox keys is F9 will open htop. (I forgot to mention that I had changed mine).
