Hello, I have found a guy who has trimmed his Debian Jessie system down to ~ 28 MB. He has used debian with icewm & busybox, so the end result is similar to AntiX. We may use some of his tips & tricks. The whole article is in hungarian: http://flerp.hu/debian/fujitsu/fujitsu.html

Some interesting points:
- kernel + some apps compiled with dietlibc ( http://www.fefe.de/dietlibc/, dietlibc-dev)
- getty --> fgetty , fgetty in /*etc/inittab ( http://www.fefe.de/fgetty/ ) ; /*etc/pam.d/common-password : md5 hash!
- init --> runit ( http://smarden.org/runit/replaceinit.html )
- Inetd/sshd --> micro-inetd ( http://www.acme.com/software/micro_inetd/ )
- bash --> mksh ( http://mirbsd.de/mksh )
- upx-ucl ( http://upx.sf.net/ )

- xterm replaced by rxvt-unicode-lite + mini shellscript named urxvtcd
- netsurf browser with basic javascript support
- bitlbee + hexchat
- syslog-ng --> socklog + svlogd ( http://smarden.org/socklog/ ) compiled with dietlibc
- cron --> busybox-crond --> dcron ( http://www.jimpryor.net/linux/dcron.html ) (compiled with dietlibc)
