Hi, anticapitalista!

I'm amazed to find I've never registered here --I have been reading posts for some time.

Best of success with your struggles with the new problems on 7.2! If you need anything updated on the FAQ before release, you know where to find me.

Very Happy
ALL THE BEST,
SilverBear

Thanks SilverBear, and glad to 'see' you here.

Just need a bit of patience for gxine and claws-mail plugins to get fixed, then it's release time.

I noted that the last upgrade that brought in xorg 7.3 has now made antiX 363MB. Not too big, but I had hoped to keep it less than 350MB.

Jerry, if you are upgraded (testing) does gxine still work? It segfaults on my and eriefisher's tests.

I removed the testing version and installed the stable gxine 0.5.8-3 (and the plugin) from the Debian Etch repertories. That works fine. Is there a way you can go ahead with that for the release, maybe by pinning/locking the version to keep it from being upgraded?

That is one way to do it jerry, though I'm not sure if it is the best. I'll wait for some feedback.
