Antix M-12-pre-final
How to activate the silver-keys (touchpad, bluetoh...) and function keys (volume up/down or bright up/down) in my Asus EeePc 901 with eeepc-acpi-scripts?
In debian, crunchbang, siduction...all works ok but NO in Antix
Or you know other utility as Jupiter (ubuntu or fuduntu)
Or eee-control? (now very older)

jtouso, I have no idea to be honest, though acpi-support-base is supposed to replace eeepc-acpi-scripts.

What does siduction use?

Also, if it works in Debian and crunchbang - again which versions and do they use eeepc-acpi-scripts? Is acpi-support-base also included when it works?

Maybe removing acpi-support-base for eeepc-acpi-scripts will work?

Added: Also check acpi-support-base is installed before doing anything else. It isn't in base, but is in full.

I'm not sure any of the eeepc control utilities will work with the current linux kernel. The EEEPC module is still included in antix. I've never attempted to get the silver keys working on my eeepc 904ha, but my function keys for volume and sleep work out of the box. The debian eeepc-acpi-scripts hasn't been updated for a while (kernel 2.6.32).

Nope - tried and eeepc-acpi-scripts depends on acpi-support-base. :(
(....on my 900)

Cheers!

On 12 rc2 using EeePC 900:

Suspend, Wireless, bright up/down worked out of the box. but not volume up/down/mute:
Installed eeepc-acpi-scripts
edit /etc /default/eeepc-acpi-scripts file and change these lines to this:
FnF_MUTE='handle_mute_toggle'
FnF_VOLUMEDOWN='handle_volume_down'
FnF_VOLUMEUP='handle_volume_up'

Now to figure out the lid close = suspend.
