Greetings from Portugal

Hi every1,

let me 1st present my tribute to anticapitalista for this piece of software mastery.
My passion for linux starts back in 1996 when I 1st saw a friend of mine using an odd window manager and a lot of command line. that made me rewind even further back in time when u could start a PC from a simple floppy...yes, u're right, i'm an old shag ;)

Memories aside, let me share that my old faithfull ASUS A1000 Series laptop is feeling like a teenage boy! Never saw it running so fast even when it was used to W98 or so.

So, keep up the good work anti :)
There's this minor detail regarding my portuguese keyboard layout that i have to figure out (somehow ALT GR is not working)...

rgds, Diversion

Olá, Diversion. Go to Control Center (the tools icon next to the power icon), tab System, Edit Config Files. Then edit your Xorg.conf. Here in my case is "XkbModel" "abnt2", "XkbLayout" "br"; put the appropriate model and layout for your case, save, Ctrl+Alt+Backspace and login again.
