Greetings from Canada

Welcome to the antiX forum. Post here to say hello.

Greetings from Canada

Hello everyone, I'm Robert from Canada, and I really like antiX. I've been running both Sidux and Debian Sid systems for about a year now and I must say having used Mepis and AntiX they are both great offerings.

I like to experiment with Linux and used to Distro hop a LOT having used Vector, Fedora, Slackware and various buntus but I think I'll stick to antiX for a while.

See ya on the boards.

Regards,
Robert

thankx guys, so far so good! AntiX has replaced Sidux as my favorite desktop linux. As of late I've grown tired of the bloat of either Gnome or KDE, and I'm really looking forward to playing with icewm and fluxbox.

Welcome unohu62. I thought that you and Eriefisher may be from a nearby location. My travels between my original home state of Michigan and my current home state of New Hampshire occasionally take me through Ontario, though with the recent way that US customs have been, I've traveled below Lake Erie rather than above it, but I've been through your area a number of times.

Glad to have you aboard on the antiX forum and I hope you enjoy antiX!

Tell me about it. I have to go through a border patrol check point every time I go to my ranch on the Rio Grande. They have brusque attitudes lately and act like the secret police or something. And that is just going and coming from my property.
