fluxbox on Antix base help needed

Postby timo on Wed Jul 16, 2008 12:34 am

I installed Antix M7 base and installed a gnome desktop for those occasions when I want that, but I stll want the option of using Fluxbox when I want. When I boot into the Antix base Fluxbox the availableminimal menu doesn't have the "files" or the menu editing facility on it so I can't figure out how to edit my Antix base fluxbox menu.

antiX-M7-base is a bit old, maybe you should use M7.2-base.

Anyhow, isn't leafpad installed?
If not default is nano cli editor.
You could install leafpad (and rox-filer if it isn't there), navigate to
/home/username/.fluxbox folder and edit the menu file.
Philosophers have interpreted the world in many ways; the point is to change it.

I will try the newer Antix base. I am still quite surprised how well Spartacus runs on old Dapper repros. I greatly altered the sources.list and it went really fine but now I'm back to experimenting with Debian.
