This is going to sound really stupid but how do I change the time on the clock in fluxbox? It is set wrong for my location.

Hi

Sounds like you have the wrong time zone set. Right click on the desktop and chose "Settings", then chose "Config-system". The fifth menu item done is "System Clock"
