What file manager are you using? and why?
I see you're using blackbox. again, why?

How does antiX run on your box by default compared with your changes?

It looks like he's using pcmanfm with the goblinx icon set (forgot where you can get it, but I've seen it around).

Yep! PcmanFM.
You can get Gtk-goblinx theme at Freashmeat.net
Blackbox is the first one i learned to write menu for. Stick to what you know and i have alot of blackbox styles.

My family likes the Gui-apps so i try to get lightiest core apps. that i can
use.

the stem-desktop is just a light debian stable.

My menu is based on Crushbang linux.
Still fine tuning it.
