These will probably be the default antiX-17 kernels if they work out ok.

Updated to 4.9.6 .
Very slow bootup with long pauses,.about 4 minutes to the background, and another 2 minutes before I could do anything.
Out of 4 reboots it hung twice.

Xorg tainted was displayed in one line when it was jammed ,stopped] waited 5 minutes and with nothing further seen, I shutdown This took place both times I did a reboot.

Back to 4.6.2 now.
